A Lesson Before Dying

In my english class this semester I had to read a book called A Lesson Before Dying. I thought it was going to be boring but it was beyond boring, in fact it was one of the greatest books I have ever read. So sit back and enjoy my synopsis of A Lesson Before Dying by: Ernest J. Gaines.

It is the late 1940's in small Gajun community in Louisiana. A man named Jefferson, is accused and found guilty and sentenced to death for a crime that he did not committ. In court his defense attorney calls him a hog and this upsets Jefferson's godmother, Miss Emma. So Miss Emma knowing she doesn't have much longer to live, asks Jeffersons old teacher, Grant Wiggans to help make him a man. He doesn't want to do it but Grant does it any way. At first Jefferson doesn't open up but by the end he opens up to Grant and is able to die a man.

Path To Manhood

Life comes at you fast you must make the right choices. I am here to teach you a lesson of becoming a man. This is not at all compicated. You see the measure of man is not made by what he has done but by his life. If you do nothing in life then being a man is far from reach. If you do something that requires making a sacrifice then you are near manhood, if you die doing this than you have earned the right to be a man. Manhood is waiting for every guy out there. So do not have a one night stand because waiting and not giving into temptations makes you a man, if you have a one night stand it makes you less of a man than a cross dresser is. Do something productive, i.e. go to college, join the army, get the medal of honor, get the distinguished service cross, become a doctor, or firefighter, save lives get married, have children, tell your children of your life. And you can finally become a man.

Childhood Heroes

You all know the story of the four green turtles
and there mentor getting mutated into five feet
tall crime fighter. But what do you really know
about the turtles? This is why I made this blog
so sit back and enjoy.

Leonardo-Is basically the leader of the Group.
Although he some times acts as a teachers
pet and follows the rules to the point of being
a good student and a great leader. But
Sometimes that ends up annoying everyone.
But that is what makes Leonardo Leonardo

Donetello-The brains of the bunch. He creates
everything they use, from Raphaels bike,
to the turtle van. He is a genius but some times
He thinks he knows everything....
Wait he does know everything.

Michaelangelo-Is the party animal, the goof off
the annoying of the four. Though when he
will prove his worth in combat. He is a typical
teenager, he plays video games and eats pizza,
and he fights evil ninjas.

Raphael-He is the arrogant one. He is over
confident, and has anger management issues.
He will always go headlong into combat and
will not think before he does something.
But he still proves his worth as do his other brothers.
